The Federal Reserve banks coordinate their lessons, publications, and information for teachers at this site. Check out the links to the other Feds as well, especially San Francisco.

Freakonomics Collection

A collection of Freakonomics columns by Stephen J. Dubner and Steven D. Levitt for the New York Times.

This is a mega-site with over 1300 lessons and activities on virtually any subject, for grades preschool through 12. They even link lessons directly to Illinois State Standards.

This is a resource for teachers and students across the country, with lesson plans, curricula, and information on learning opportunities in the field of economics. The offerings of the Powell Center can be applied in any school environment, by teachers or administrators who are interested in improving students’ understanding of economics.

Lessons, games, calculators for elementary, middle, and high school students, plus parents and SPANISH-LANGUAGE materials are on this website. It also correlates lessons to Illinois State Standards in English, math and social studies.
